Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of serving our nation and our state, first in uniform, then in public service. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that America's strength comes from the character of its people and the communities they build together.
The promise of America is not simply found in our founding documents, but in the opportunity they created for generations to pursue their dreams, provide for their families, and contribute to something greater than themselves. Here in Wyoming, that promise is reflected every day by our men and women who rise early, who put in the hard work, who serve our communities with pride and make our state prosper, all while caring for and raising their families.
As we celebrate this Independence Day, I am grateful for the men and women who have defended our freedoms, for the opportunities this country has provided my family, and for the privilege of living in a state where integrity, hard work, and community still matter.
