Our energy sector remains one of the most important drivers of Wyoming's economy. We must continue supporting our oil, coal, and natural gas industries while also positioning Wyoming to lead in emerging opportunities such as nuclear energy and uranium development. These industries provide quality jobs, strengthen our communities, and help fund essential services across the state.
Agriculture is also vital to Wyoming's way of life. Having grown up around my family's farming operations, I understand the challenges facing farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. We need policies that support those who feed our nation and preserve Wyoming's agricultural heritage.
Economic growth also depends on maintaining strong infrastructure and a business-friendly environment. By investing in reliable roads, water systems, and energy infrastructure while encouraging business development, we can attract new opportunities and help existing employers thrive.
When our core industries succeed, Wyoming families succeed. We create opportunities for our children and grandchildren, strengthen our communities, and preserve the values that make Wyoming such a special place to call home.
