Keeping Wyoming Strong, Innovative, and a Great Place to Raise a Family

Luke Reiner for Wyoming House

I’m Luke Reiner, retired Commanding General of the Wyoming Military, Director of WYDOT, husband, father, and grandfather, and I’m running for Wyoming House District 8 because I believe our community deserves steady, thoughtful leadership grounded in service, responsibility, and respect for others.

Why I’m Running

Our communities deserve leaders who listen carefully, work collaboratively, and make informed decisions with integrity and common sense. I want to help ensure future generations can continue to live, work, and raise their families here while preserving the opportunities and traditions that make Wyoming special.

Wyoming’s future depends on strengthening the industries and institutions that have sustained us while continuing to invest in the people and infrastructure that will move our state forward.

Priorities

Wyoming is a place where families put down roots, where hard work is valued, and where our communities are shaped by the people, industries, and landscapes that make this state unlike anywhere else. I’m committed to protecting that way of life while helping ensure Wyoming remains strong, resilient, and prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead.

In the legislature, I will:

  • Supporting Wyoming’s legacy energy industries while embracing emerging technologies

  • Ensuring our roads, power grids, water systems, and critical infrastructure remain strong and resilient

  • Supporting the men and women who serve our nation and the families who stand beside them

  • Attracting and retaining businesses that create opportunity and strengthen Wyoming’s economy

  • Protecting and supporting Wyoming’s agricultural way of life and rural communities

I am excited to earn your support, listen to your concerns, and work together to strengthen Wyoming’s future.
